The little owl is fun and I really enjoy the wet on wet background. An old watercolorist once told me, "Your brush should never touch the canvas twice in the same spot. Let the pigments do what they wish. Your hand should only encourage and suggests particular paths for them." He was a bit of an old cooke, but its a fun style to play with.
